We are proud to release the new 3.5″ Stainless Steel race downpipe for the EVO4 AWD (4-motion or Quattro) platform, fitment for MK8 VW Golf R/8Y Audi S3.
Unfortunately, the factory downpipe that comes as standard equipment in your car was designed for anything but performance. The factory downpipe severely restricts exhaust flow and therefor has adverse effects on horsepower, especially once your car is tuned.
The downpipe will allow for your exhaust gases to flow smoothly, freeing up the additional ponies that you want, all while look amazing. Highlights of our downpipe include a 3.5″ cast downpipe flange, mandrel bent 3″ stainless steel tubing and factory mounting locations.

***To remove the CEL that will occur, proper tuning software must be used. Use of stage 2 software upgrade is strongly recommended. CEL eliminators or oxygen sensor spacers are ineffective and will not help.
